Smeg Washing Machine Thermostat Temperature Sensor NTC00170961

The ordering and fitting of this thermostat was very straightforward. Delivery took a little longer than I expected, but the part arrived in good condition. Don’t bother taking the machine apart. The thermostat fits underneath at the front of the machine.

Bought this at same time as the heater element that it fits into, which was the main reason for working on the washing machine (Trip switch kept going off when heat cycle kicked in) Decided that whilst I was doing the job should replace this sensor and as it was cheap made sense. Both items were an exact fit and made replacing them very easy. 30 mins and I was all done and back up and running.

Great service Front cover off and pop it in next to the heater. Simple push fit. 2 seconds once the cover is off.

Easy to fit and exact match for what was needed for a Bosch Washer Dryer.

After watching the excellent diagnostic and replacement videos - I knew exactly which part was at fault and was able to order direct and then fit it all by myself - Saving a lot of money in the process
