Smeg Dishwasher Temperature & Turbidity Sensor 140000401061

My 8 year old IKEA dishwasher (rebadged Electrolux) stopped heating the water. The thermostat seal had leaked and the electronics inside became corroded due to water ingress. This is a plug and play part. Works a treat. Dishwasher now works like new again. You can probable replace this part with the dishwasher in situ: a bit fiddly and will require lying on the floor and a short handled screwdriver or a right-angled drive bit to remove the front kick playe Unscrew the kick plate and the thermostat is right at the front and accessible. It just unplugs and is held in place with two plastic tabs. I pulled my washer out unnecessarily, and ended up damaging the drain hose which I also had to replace.
